James Warren IV
James is a business attorney and owner of JF Warren PC. He represents clients across a range of industries, such as cannabis, life science, entertainment, marketing, consulting, government contracting, fitness, hospitality, and manufacturing. James especially enjoys serving as outside general counsel, drafting and negotiating commercial and corporate transactions, advising on employment matters, risk management, and litigation.
James began his legal career as a litigation associate at Brown, Neri, Smith & Khan, LLP in Los Angeles, where he handled business and commercial disputes in federal and state courts in California, Arizona, as well as Nevada arbitration tribunals. Following his time at BNSK, James was a partner in the Los Angeles office of Edlin Gallagher, Huie & Blum, where he practiced business and commercial litigation, transactional law, and general liability litigation.
James received his J.D. in 2015 from Whittier Law School with certificates in Trial and Appellate Practice and Criminal Law. He also received his B.A. in environmental studies from Sonoma State University in 2011.
James focuses his practice on business and commercial litigation, outside general counsel services, commercial contracts, employment law, and corporate law.
